How to add art to your Samsung Frame TV.

Hang any download from The Frame TV Arts on your TV in a few minutes using Samsung’s free SmartThings app.

What you need

  • A Samsung The Frame TV
  • A phone or tablet with the SmartThings app
  • A 4K art download from this site (JPEG, 3840×2160)

1. Connect SmartThings to your TV

Install Samsung’s free SmartThings app, sign in, and make sure your Frame is on the same Wi‑Fi network. Follow the app prompts until the TV appears in your devices.

2. Download your art

Open the piece you want on theframetv.com and download the native 4K JPEG. Save it to your phone’s Photos / Gallery (or transfer it from your computer).

3. Open Art Mode

In SmartThings, select your Frame TV, then open Art Mode (sometimes labeled Art Store / My Photos depending on your software version).

4. Add your photo

Choose Add / My Photos and pick the file you downloaded. Wait until it finishes uploading to the TV.

5. Optional: choose a mat

If you like a matte border, pick a mat style and color in Art Mode. You can also leave mats off for a full-bleed look.

6. Set it

Tap Set (or Apply). Your art is now on the wall — that’s it.

Tips

  • Use our frame and mat preview on each art page so you know the look before you download.
  • Files are already Frame-ready 4K JPEGs — no resizing needed.
  • New arts you unlock with the lifetime library work the same way: download, add in Art Mode, set.

Still stuck?

Re-open SmartThings, confirm the TV is online, and try adding the photo again. If the file doesn’t appear, re-download it and check that it’s a JPEG in your camera roll.
